Unfortunately those moccasins turned out to be cheaply made and overpriced so I returned them for a much better pair that was half the price. sweet. I also finally got some boots. The ones Iwas deadset on getting were too narrow for my feet and just not cut out for winter wear. soooo, I found a sweet pair of winter boots in brown suede and I bought some suede pieces and I made my own fringe!
Here are my new moccasins by Minnetonka, I got them on sale at DSW

It's really easy to assume everyone is a potential criminal. What happened to assuming that everyone was a good soul? That is one thing I don't like about the city, I feel I'm always looking over my shoulder. It's more than that though. I used to be such a forgiving person. I used to try and give everyone the benefit of the doubt, and understand their situation. It's not completely gone, but I've become extremely cautious. I'm not sure if it is a good thing; I suppose I just need to find the balance between keeping my guard up, and letting it down.

a kiss to build a dream on...
Give me a kiss to build a dream on, And my imagination will thrive upon that kiss. Sweetheart, I ask no more than this: A kiss to build a dream on. Give me a kiss before you leave me, And my imagination will feed my hungry heart. Leave me one thing before we part, A kiss to build a dream on. -louis armstrong

At first I wasn't sure.
I entered the corporate cafe to purchase my drink and I seriously considered bolting out the side door. And deleting my online profiles. I picked up my iced coffee and headed back outside to sit awkwardly with a man I wasn't sure I would be attracted to, and who didn't know his black boots made me want to run far away. But I listened to my gut, who told me to give the guy a friggen chance. The wind was kindly entertaining me, and chocolate comforted my nerves. We passed along a few first date questions and blank stares into the distance that matched the uncomfortable silences. Eventually, I realized that I was smiling, and he was listening. We walked, and we talked, and by the time we were ready to head back home, I found myself staring at his lips, and thinking things that I couldn't say out loud. It didn't happen, not yet, but I have something to look forward to. On Monday.
